A stamp appraisal is an evaluation or estimate to the value of a collection. The appraisal can be written or verbal. An appraisal is often followed by an offer to purchase the collection. If a written appraisal is needed you should expect to pay appraiser for their expertise. This of course should be discussed prior to the appraisal.
